Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce is a local organization by local businesses for local businesses. Like most small businesses, The Chamber's old website, like most small businesses' websites, was little more than a static, digital billboard that provided little benefit to visitors and members.

So, we built The Chamber a new dynamic, interactive, Web 2.0 website. The new site is not just better looking, but it is also more useful. We built the site using a powerful platform called Drupal, which allows Chamber staff to update the site's content without any technical programs or skills.

We will be rolling out features throughout the year, rather than all at once, so we don't overwhelm visitors and members with too many new features and technology all at once.

By the end of the year, Chamber members will be interacting far more with the Chamber and other members via The Chamber website, than ever before, and more than almost any other chamber in the world . They will be able to market to other members, manage their company's information listed in The Chamber's directory, exchange ideas, connect with and conduct business with other local businesses, all through the new website.

The new technology will have a great impact not only on The Chamber's bottom line, but also on the benefits members receive by joining The Chamber.
